wmp: lostprophets, 4am forever

it was a short dash across the three, maybe four, lane road because i wasn't as punctual as i'd like to have been and then i felt the breathlessness kick in. i wonder what happened man.

i liked horton. fcukin' hilarious.

and so after a stout, a walk down to felix's place, a drive out to mcdonalds, some five hour restless sleep and a day at bugis, i finally made it back to home sweet home.

looks like a storm is coming.

maybe its really more difficult than it looks but i think i've spent too much time reading and its finally time to get down to it no matter what my parents think i can't do.

not too long ago my mother had two guests from the US&A and they joined us for dinner. i was pretty excited about meeting them but the conversations soon grew to be a little awkward when they kept asking me questions pertaining to our national education. i couldn't exactly muster enough enthusiasm to talk about sang nila utama. coupled with my lack of knowledge i wish i could just shrug away their questions. i guess i shld have expected that from professors. from abroad even! i thought they were very pleasant people anyway.

before they took their leave they left behind a bag of chocolate mints on the dining table. nobody bothered to even touch them. i didn't think much of them either until i actually munched on one. and then i took them up to my bedroom.

for the past nights i've been munching on handfuls of them stopping only when i feel alittle sick in the stomach. it actually has a mint filling, coated with chocolate and then the colourful crust. i tried to search the brand up the net but couldn't find out much. thought i should take a picture before i finish the last of them.



its probably the reason why i can't sleep at night.

a simple dinner at the end of the day with an old friend kinda turned things round for the week...

i've been waiting for friday night to pop that dvd in, crank up the air con, and switch off the lights. having not finished it the last time on the return flight from taiwan, i figured 'a good year' was the kind of film i'd like to watch after the long week...

wmp: the diggs, recovery forever

i'm glad i'm doing what i do now for pay - no matter how measly, it buffers my bank balance - at the library. maybe it's the surroundings that evoke the kind of tranquility i doubt the hectic confines of the office, made up of cubicles after cubicles and only cubicles, will allow. or the piano that churns out piece after piece of music throughout the entire day of laze... ... .

it was friday and t'were throngs of people at suntec. we made a quick tour at the it fair before dinner and then for the show. leap year. i liked certain lines from the script but on the whole, the film didn't really strike any chords with me. or the rest of us for that matter.

then came saturday. it was an atrociously early morning in town. i picked out 'infinite crisis' from the shelves of kinokuniya. it was my last book with the soon to expire privilege card and it was a good one; i thought it was neat the way they have the superman from the golden age clash head on with the superman of todays comic books.

parallel realities is a wonderful yet scary thought.

sunday slipped by...

but i managed to finish up the last bit of the wing zero custom(a project i started even before the 'A' levels).

the new seagate freeagent desktop harddisk works great.

i need a new pair of shoes.

i've to realise the incoming salary is some delusion of great financial power...

wmp: tokyo police club, in a cave

kick started the day with an indie song and a group chat on msn(two ord personnel, two nsf, and, of course the lady in aussieland). t'was some small talk on reviving an irc channel. i imagined myself taking on the alias 'Bravo' all over. very nostalgic.

at lunch hour i made a little trip back to maju camp just to meet up with some of the guys. could't help but feel good mingling with them in the sort of peace only an ord personnel will know. card sessions ahead sounded good.

tomorrow will be a working day yet again. since the ord.

through tu dou i managed to catch 'departed' which was fuckin shiok. i think its 115388783433 times better than wu jian dao which was very confusing when i felt when i first watch and them speaking very quickly in mandarin with faster than you can read subtitles doesn't exactly help much.

like i said, fuckin shiok.
