last evening, the every evening that brother sj attained class 3, we had a gala time at adam rd's hawker. he was at my place that evening too and while on the computer, said he found the lack of pictures on my blog very disturbing.

after this weird dream of people telling me how ugly my spectacles look, i finally woke up at noon. and while my stomach tries to eat itself for the past hour, i decided to take a break from the usual mediocre metaphors, one liners, abstract, ambiguous blogging, and go through my archives, and upload the heck load of photos, for all the good times.

its been quite a ride since ord...

wmp: tokyo police club, in a cave

kick started the day with an indie song and a group chat on msn(two ord personnel, two nsf, and, of course the lady in aussieland). t'was some small talk on reviving an irc channel. i imagined myself taking on the alias 'Bravo' all over. very nostalgic.

at lunch hour i made a little trip back to maju camp just to meet up with some of the guys. could't help but feel good mingling with them in the sort of peace only an ord personnel will know. card sessions ahead sounded good.

tomorrow will be a working day yet again. since the ord.

wmp: how six songs collide, norwegian recycling

i've been trying to recollect on how i've spend the last two weeks ever since i've orded - it feels like yesterday actually - and do a day by day entry but everything seems to be one big blur.


so, in nutshell, t'was the chinese new year at my grandmother's place for a couple of nights of blackjack, and then we were at cs's birthday surprise came monday night(i can only imagine how he stepped into his bedroom of a bunch of us), kuishin bo on valentines day(hungry people obliterating snow crabs, lol) and, of course, raffles town club with the entire gessvball gang. aka the inebriates(see bottom left). for most of the week i saw felix & huimin, probably the two most free people in the world. haha.



t'was some afternoon i caught 'ah long' with sj & felix at marina sq. and then as we were looking around at springfield, we heard a good mix of songs. two weeks of searching and last night i finally found the guy churning those mash ups out. norwegian recycling. very neat stuff he's got.

cjseven was pretty hilarious but just alrite on the whole. i watched 'meet the spartans' on tvshack. not exactly something i'd go to the movies for but entertaining still. 'jumper' was cool. but i still wanna be superman.

i'm glad my model kit is finally taking shape after 6546876138318 days(since the alevels). what a waste of time and money. i can't wait to be done with it for good.

for the past week i've been kinda comfortable going to bed at 4am in the morning until i had to head down to the beach last saturday morning. quite a drag to reset the alarm an hour after an hour. they say its better to wake up in the early morning and i thought i'd like that too though i don't really know how now. besides, i enjoy the peace in the night.

i'm really lookin' forward to something but i can't exactly put my finger on it...

wmp: a1, caught in the middle

we spent the entire evening in town wandering about and then had a couple of drinks at molly malone's. cheating at poker is fuckin' fun especially when it doesn't matter if we get caught. half a deck was eventually drenched in strongbow. the last train led to my place where we chatted while sipping on whiskey in the chilly breeze by the poolside.

they called it camaraderie. i think i'll miss that.

so it was some 3am after setting the chivas bottle aside. jenrine filled me in on the upcoming phase of school. very exciting.

i met up with the go5 the following morning back at town. i just hope the weeks ahead are fuckin' good times together...

i keep forgeting my handphone now has a camera.

i'm still trying to let it all sink in... i'm fuckin' going to ord!

my sleep has been kinda upset since supper that night with the gessvball gang. the night after i watched the second season of heroes until some 3am. it was good.

i spent my last couple of my days clearing out my drawer. one of the things i cleared out was a tin of fifty cent coins and i remembered how i used to play with them in the office until i found an even greater addiction in cards that led to a few decks of them lieing around.

today, i had my camp passes returned, clearance form almost done with and my drawer's finally emptied, ready for the next guy in line. i think i'll miss the nsf lounging area. and i guess for all the times i thought life was fucked up, it wasn't nearly as bad as how i thought it was. i think i'll miss maju.

not too long ago i had thought the day i ord was gonna be a bittersweet one considering all the good times i had. time seem to have a way of flying by and it'll be over before i know it. or so i thought.

it's strange cause right here right now as i type in this God forsakened office, time seemed to have stopped with 30 days left on the clock. I CAN HARDLY FUCKIN WAIT.

had a smashing good time on new years eve. this year i shall do without resolutions. i never did bother with them all these years anyway.
